| Mac hard drives can be wiped by zeroing their data using Apple's Disk Utility (found in Applications:Utilities). Note that zeroing data (a.k.a. "low level" format) may take a long time, depending on the size of the disk. For optimal results, it is recommended to use the "8-way random" feature in conjunction with the "zero all data" option.
