You should not need to enter your credentials on subsequent connections to moobilenetx.
Troubleshooting: Common wireless Setup and Connection Problems
After successful completion of the above steps, the major reasons for unsuccessful connection may be one or more of the following.
- You will not be able to log in to MoobilenetX if you have not changed or refreshed your password recently (since July 17, 2006). Refreshing your password should take care of the problem (you may keep the same password if you wish). To refresh your password, visit the Computing Accounts Webpage and select the "Change your password" option. After you refresh your password, wait about 10 minutes and then you should be able to log in to MoobilenetX.
- You may be in an area with no UCD wireless coverage. Coverage maps can be found here.
- UCD wireless or the campus network is temporarily down. If your neighbors also are unable to connect, this is the most likely cause. Try again later.
